The Vector Control program does not provide dog adoption service. Any dog that is impounded and not claimed during the impound period is made available at no charge to Pound Buddies Rescue, a non-profit animal rescue organizations that provides adoption services to the community.

If you are looking for your lost dog or to adopt a dog, please visit the Pound Buddies Rescue website to view photos of unclaimed dogs. You can also visit Vector Control's animal shelter located at 1300 East Keating in Muskegon. Viewing hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am-Noon and from 1:00-5:00 pm.
